Andre Mol,
Ministerial Intern

"Wrestling with Abundance"

When we gather on Sundays, we are often reminded of our blessings: the love, beauty, and connection that surround us as we join together in community. But what does it mean to celebrate this abundance in a world so full of things we actually don't want: fear, greed, hunger, disasters, hate, and violence? Is celebrating the good things in life just an indulgence or is it a way to build resilience for facing all the hard stuff?  Ministerial Intern, Andre Mol, reflects on the role abundance plays in bridging the gap between the world as it is and the world we wish to create.

"Knee Deep in Abundance"
What does it mean to be knee deep in abundance? Most likely it doesn't mean one person has greater wealth or more material resources than another. Wouldn't we agree that abundance is a state of mind more than anything else? And if not, then what is it really?
