New Parents of Northwestern

The start of the school year is almost here, which means orientation is right around the corner! We want to come alongside you and your student to make the start of your Northwestern experience truly memorable. As part of orientation, you're invited and encouraged to attend several orientation events we've set up for you.

Below is a helpful email for new parents regarding the fall schedule and information. Please register and let us know you're coming!

Make a Different Choice

The truth is that our kids are pretty stuck with us...and our influence. They don't get to choose their relationship with us. They get the worst of us and the best. There have been days when I pleaded with the Lord, "forgive me for the baggage I gave my kids today," and other days where I praised God that I got to parent them through a crisis to help them be overcomers. So my question for us is this... What messages from us, like-it-or-not, do they take with them when they return to campus?

Financial aid will be posted August 15. If aid is not visible, call 651-631-5212 to inquire what steps need to be finished. Enroll in a payment plan or pay in full and submit the required payment by August 31 to avoid a late fee.

Night of Worship & Fun

Join us for this NEW homecoming event featuring worship leader Natalie Cromwell, artist Eric Samuel Timm, and illusionist Harris III. This is an event for the entire family!

Tickets are $5 per person.

Northwestern 5K Run/Walk

Join us for this year's homecoming 5K run/walk. This event is open to the community and includes a Kids' Fun Run, free for kids 8 and under. There will also be a separate 5K route for participants who wish to bring strollers.

Homecoming Music Showcase: On Wings Like Eagles

UNW Music welcomes alumni and friends to a concert celebrating the beauty of flight, featuring the Northwestern Choir, Symphonic Band, and UNW Orchestra. Hear music depicting birds in flight, the Eagle included, that both inspires and uplifts.

This year we would like to welcome Jason Jaggard back to the Fuel Leadership Conference! Jason is a founding partner of Novus Global, a firm investing in leaders all around. He is also the author of the book Spark: Transform Your World One Small Risk at a Time.
