The Faculty of Arts and Science Office will be on reduced services during this period. Since the July registration period will be over, we will no longer assist with registration matters during this time. No appointments will be booked with advisors during this time and there will be limited availability for phone and email consultations. Urgent requests will still be handled by calling our office directly. We will return to regular office hours on August 14. Keep in mind that most of our undergraduate offices may be unavailable during this time or until open enrolment begins.

Waiting Lists

All single-term Arts and Science classes have been set up with wait lists. Multi-term, full year (A/B) courses cannot be set up with wait lists. The wait list option gives you an opportunity to join a wait list for a class that is full. 

 

A note about using the EDIT function in SOLUS: if you are enrolled in a class but want to change your lab or tutorial and the one you want is full, you can use EDIT to go on the waitlist. BUT.... If you do that, you will lose your existing registration in the class ! If the lab or tutorial you want is full and there is a wait list, SOLUS will drop you from the class and add you to the wait list for both the lecture and the lab/tutorial. Before choosing to EDIT or SWAP, it is a good idea to make sure that the lectures, labs or tutorials are open.

3. Comment on the photo saying which item you and your Queen's friend would like to win (it can only be one item; if you win, you will each get the same item). Make sure to tag your friend in the comment.

That's it! We will announce the contest winners on August 11, so you will have until then to participate. We will message the winners shortly after the contest is over to explain how they can pick up their prize in September.

*Note that in order to win, both you and the friend you tag in the photo must be enrolled in an Arts and Science Program at Queen's.
