Faith Vision Co-Op Coffee/Tea
The Faith Vision Co-Op would like to invite families who might be interested in joining a co-op for the 2013-2014 school year to an informal coffee/tea.
Faith Vision Co-Op is an established co-op, beginning our third year, consisting of three core families using Tapestry of Grace as the foundational curriculum. We will be working through Year 4 Unit 4, Year 1 Units 1 & 2 for the next school year. We are a Christian based co-op seeking to teach through a conservative, Biblical worldview. As we cycle back through Year 1, the Bible will be our main text and ultimate source of historical information. We will be teaching Creationism through a Young Earth/literal 7 day perspective.
Our co-op will be focused on History and Literature with the possible addition of writing. We will have classes for Preschool, Lower Grammar, Upper Grammar and Dialectic.
New families would be required to purchase the Tapestry of Grace units that we use in co-op, pay a portion of Liability Insurance, share in teaching responsibilities, help share cost of meeting space (if applicable) and agree to our Statement of Faith. For information on Tapestry of Grace, please visit their website at www.tapestryofgrace.com. We will have the curriculum at the meeting for those interested to explore. We ask that anyone interested review Tapestry's theological direction and be in agreement with it as well.

About me: I am a homeschooling mom of 4 and feel privileged to be able to share my love of math with homeschooled teens. Math has always been "my thing!" I cannot remember a time in school that Math wasn't my favorite subject. My mom was a high school math teacher, so I guess it is in my genes. Before homeschooling my own children, I taught Algebra 2 Honors, Geometry, and AP Statistics at Bloomingdale High School for 6 years. I have 20+ years of private tutoring experience and hold a valid Florida Teaching Certificate in Mathematics (grades 5-9) and Mathematics (grades 6-12.)
If you are interested in any of the above classes or would like more information, please feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or 813-679-0328.
