"It's not enough that we do our best; sometimes we have to do what's required." --Winston Churchill

Faith2ACTION President Janet Porter has called for a three day fast for passage of the Heartbeat Bill this month--to protect 26,000 babies with beating hearts who will otherwise be aborted each year.  The fast will begin on Monday, December 10th and continue through Wednesday, December 12th.

"I'm asking you to make the most important call yet," said Porter. "We're calling the One above every Senator and elected official.  But you won't need a phone: We're calling on God." she added. "We have a mountain to move, and there's a way He said to do it: prayer and fasting"

So Jesus said to them, "Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting."   --Matthew 17:20-22

Porter stated, "Winston Churchill, who 'never gave in,' also said, 'It's not enough that we do our best; sometimes we have to do what's required.'"

Faith2Action is requesting that churches make an announcement from the pulpit, in bulletins, or through some other means to their congregations about this three-day fast.   We would appreciate anything that the Christian media can do to get the word out
