FALL in Hood River, OR
Greetings!

Thanks for taking the time to check out our newsletter! Hood River is a magical place any time of the year, but we have to admit, the turning of the leaves, apple harvest, fresh-fruit pie, and crisp mornings make this the place to be in autumn.

Enjoy!
Hops Festival Beer Stein- October 1
Love fresh-hop beer? There will be over 25 breweries at Hood River Hops Fest this  year, a kids' zone and art and food vendors. Right in downtown Hood River between 5th & 7th and Cascade & Columbia streets. Admission ($6) includes a commemorative stein and tasting tokens are only $1. We'll see you there!
Harvest Festival - October 14-16Apples
How do you carve an 800lb pumpkin? We're not sure, but we're going to find out at this year's Harvest Festival. October 14-16 at the Hood River waterfront is this year's art, food, fresh-produce, carriage-ride, entertainment and all things Harvest extravaganza. Don't forget Friday is half-price for seniors (65+), kids 12 and under get in free all weekend, and of course, the parking is FREE!
We're famous for our windsurfing, kiteboarding, and stand-up paddleboarding in the summer, but we're also a world-class skiing vacation destination in the winter. Check out Hood River this winter time for our fun Holiday festivities including a holiday parade, photos with Santa, and great downtown shopping. You can kick-back in a beautiful hotel room or hit the slopes for a day of adventure, then finish it off with a great beer or wine-tasting. Happy Holidays!
