It is hard to believe that we are at the end of 2016.  There is so much for which we can all be thankful. At this time, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you personally for reading our newsletters and thank you for your continued support of our children and our district. My  wish to you and your family is to enjoy a very happy holiday season.  This time of year is very special and a time to make special memories.

The holiday season can also be very difficult for families.  Please take a moment to remember those in need and who may be suffering.  It is also important that you take the time to remember our servicemen and women who are working to keep us safe, especially during this holiday season. We have a number of our Township parents who are not home during the holidays, because they are serving  in our military.  A special shout out to our BT moms and dads who are serving our great country.  Thank you for your service to our Country and our community.

The District will be closed from Dec. 23- Jan. 2. Schools will reopen on Tuesday, January 3, 2016!

Happy Holidays from my family to yours.

See you next year!

Liz

Making a Difference

AJ Eichmann, an eighth grade student at Burlington Township Middle School, recently completed a winter coat drive to benefit community members in need. His original goal was 50 coats, and as of Dec. 1, he had collected more than 200.

Way to go, AJ! Thank you for making a difference!
Holidays Around BT
Looks like Santa and his elf traded in Rudolph and the other reindeer for a school bus. Santa and one of his elves were spotted picking up their students and delivering them to school yesterday. They were nice enough to stop to and take a picture for us too. You better watch out!
You better not cry or pout......you never know who may be driving a bus today. Be on your best behavior!
Santa & his elf stopped by the Board offices too to check his list for the 2nd time!
Happy holidays from the BTHS Carolers and Frosty!

Fountain Woods teamed up with HS Senior Ehren Valme to form a quartet for the holidays.
