The countdown to the end of the year has begun.  Our students are beginning to prepare for exams, prom memories are about to be made, and graduation caps are about to be tossed into the sky.  As we begin to celebrate all of these momentous ocassions, it is very important to be safe.  Please talk with your children about the dangers of drinking and driving, distracted driving, and texting while driving.

A special thank to you all of our service men and women who serve so we are able to enjoy our freedom.  We all know that freedom is not free.  Please take a moment to thank those who serve and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Have a great day!

BT HONORS OUR ARMED FORCES

Congratulations to Flavia Scotto D'Antuono on a job well done. This BTHS Junior successfully worked to have a permanent tribute to all BTHS alumni who have served in the military. Additionally she had a website launched as well. Both will be updated yearly as more alumni are identified. Thank you Flavia for your hard work.

If you know a Burlington Township High School alumni who has served or is currently serving please email their information including their graduation year, branch and rank in the military to [email protected].
Thank you to the men and women who have served our country.

Flavia and Mr. Matthews worked on painting the mural and mounting the names and pictures of our local heroes who have served our Country!

Raising Children During
Challenging Times

Communities across the nation are being faced with some tough, new-age issues our young people are dealing with and teenage depression and suicide are at the top of this list. So, it is very important that we know and understand what our children are being exposed to outside of the home. If you haven't had a chance to read our newsletter which featured a letter from Superintendent, Mary Ann Bell, please click here to read the letter and access links that will help facilitate conversations with your children about these and other serious issues. Also, don't forget that we have helpful tools available to you in Falcons360 program. If you have not registered for that, please see the bottom of the NewsFlash letter to get started!
In the News
Check out the following links for more highlights in the BT Community that made it to our local news outlets!

The Burlington Township School District will develop the intellectual, creative, and social potential of each child through an active partnership with all members of the community.
