Summer School and Summer Enrichment
If you haven't done so already, it's time to start looking ahead and planning for summer. With the last day of classes in FHUSD being May 24th, many of you are probably wondering what sorts of activities will be available for students when Tuesday, May 29th comes around. Fortunately, there are many options.
The district will continue with our focus on the academic and athletic sides of things, offering high school courses for credit and sports camps for middle and high school students provided by FHUSD coaches and staff. Here's a link to the 2018 FHUSD Summer School Brochure which contains course descriptions, schedules, and registration information:
We are again partnering with the Mary Ellen and Robert McKee Branch of the Boys and Girls Club to make the Club the center for enrichment for the younger students. Here is a link to information about the Club's Summer Camp and schedule of enrichment classes, and a separate link to Frequently Asked Questions:
We are also actively promoting summer activities provided through the Town of Fountain Hills Community Services Department. Here's a link to offerings that are already scheduled and we will continue to share information as it is updated:
It's always good for kids to stay active during the summer months and we'll continue to share information of programming available to our kids. I hope the above information is a good start.
