Cranksgiving Cleveland
Join the Northeast Ohio cycling community in collecting more than $2,000 in food to provide meals to disadvantaged Cleveland families. Be part of th  e second annual Bike Cleveland Cranksgiving at West Park Station, 17015 Lorain Avenue, on Saturday, November 23. From there, you will ride on your own or with friends to grocery stores, picking up a certain food item at each store. Starting time is to be determined. Details at the Facebook event here.

Monday, November 11, is Veterans Day, honoring people who have served in the U.S. armed forces. As a special appreciation, West Park Massotherapy is offering a  50% off massage special to Veterans ONLY and includes any length massage at 4168 Rocky River Drive. The West Park Kiwanis Club Pancake Breakfast is Sunday, November 3, at St. Joseph Academy,  3420 Rocky River Drive. Stop by from 8 a.m. till 1 p.m. for all the pancakes you can eat. Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for children ages 7 to 12. Those 6 and under eat free. See the flyer here.
The Kamm's Corners Farmers Market runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. beginning November 10 through May, on the second Sunday of each month at the Cretan Party Center, 3853 West 168th Street. This year, two local produce vendors offer greenhouse or hoop house grown vegetables well into the winter! See you at the market!
Look for an e-mail invitation for Wine in the Holidays,  our only fundraiser of the year. It takes place on Thursday, December 5, at Puritas Nursery, and it will feature a few surprises. Be sure to read your invitation, which also offers an online option to purchase tickets. Cleveland legend Alex Bevan will be performing at the River's Edge Holiday Concert on Sunday, December 15. Proceeds benefit their Women's Outreach program. Purchase tickets here. Phat Daddy's Kitchen is a new restaurant offering  dine in, delivery, and take out from 4363 Rocky River Drive, inside Riverside Pub, south of Lorain Avenue. Happy Halloween! Trick-or-Treating takes place tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. in Cleveland. Please turn on your porch lights to participate. City recreation centers offer "Big City Boo" from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. tonight for kids age 12 and under, including Gunning Rec Center, 16700 Puritas Avenue. Guests get candy, play games, and stay safe!
