From the Department Chair
The start of the Fall Semester is always an exciting time. Faculty, staff, and students have returned to campus, and there's an air of excitement. We began with an excellent Academic Tech Institute and Faculty/Staff Institute to kick the year off. Another month, and we'll be gathering with students, alumni, and friends at the AHIMA National Convention in Los Angeles. I look forward to seeing many of you there!

Remember to stay in touch. We love to hear about what everyone is up to, and to highlight those great stories via our blog and social media.

Cheers,

Ryan

Giving
With the economic financial challenges today, students and families are stretched to afford a St. Scholastica education.  As one of our teasured alums, we are reaching out to you to support the College with a gift to the Sister Loretta Scholarship Fund and/or the LaTour Eichenwald Forum.  One way the HIIM Department is able to promote and encourage continuing student education is through the Sr. Loretta Scholarship.  The Sr. Loretta Scholarship is offered to undergraduate and graduate students to assist in the funding of their education.

Thank you,

Anna Kelly, Chair of the Sr. Loretta Scholarship Committee

"Donating to the Sister Loretta Scholarship has become one of life's good habits!  The [Sr. Loretta] Committee knows how important even small contributions are to the scholarship and encourages wider giving so students continue to benefit in this outstanding educational program."
