Fall 2018 Statewide Workshops for
Grandparents Raising Grandchildren

The Commission on Grandparents Raising Grandchildren invites grandparents, kinship caregivers, and providers to attend any of the seven workshops offered this fall across Massachusetts. Guest speakers at each workshop will discuss important topics relative to caregivers such as special education services, internet safety, the effects of domestic violence on children, the disease of addiction, and suicide awareness. Workshops will be approximately three hours longs and followed by an information panel, which includes representatives from agencies who work with grandparents raising grandchildren such as DTA, DCF, Masshealth, WIC, Elder Services, and more.
