Canada Research Chairs Programs formal evaluation
Every five years, all Canada Research Chairs Programs undergo a formal evaluation to ensure
the program is accountable for the use of public funds; is efficient and effective; and is transparent and meeting its objectives. The findings from these evaluations are then used to manage and improve the program's design, policies and procedures. Read the online public consultation on the 15th-year evaluation and submit your comments by the September 25, 2017 deadline
here.

CIFAR global call for ideas
The Canadian Institute for Advances Research (CIFAR) has announced a new call for proposals for long-term, multidisciplinary research projects that are "novel, bold and potentially transformative."
