Greetings! |
Fall is here, and that means back to school, back to football, and back to Young Adult Ministry. Lots of young adult groups take a summer break and start up again in the fall, so this is a great time to check out a group near you.
Over 60 parishes in the Archdiocese have an active young adult ministry! Find one in your area using our interactive map.or in the listings to the right. Or plan to attend one of the many upcoming events for young adults. Don't want to go alone?
|
Did you get served this summer? | RENEW International's Theology-on-Tap is in the history books for 2011, and it was a great success! Over 1,200 young adults were served 32 nights of TOT at 10 sites in the archdiocese.
There are lots of photos from many of the sites on our Facebook page. Thanks to all who were involved in the planning, promotion, and organization of the series. See you next summer!

You in college? Rah!
| Did you head to college this Fall or do you know someone who did? The Freshman Survival Guide from BustedHalo is a great resource for college students (not just freshmen!). The book and accompanying website has lots of great, practical advice on the intellectual, physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of college life. Check it out or recommend it to a friend. And be sure to connect with your college campus ministry as soon as the year starts. If you don't know where to look, you can find the websites of many Catholic campus ministries here, or check with your student life office.
The very first National Catholic Collegiate Conference (NCCC) will be held this year November 17-21, in Indianapolis, in conjunction with the National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC). Join other college-age and post-graduate young adults (ages 18 to 25) from around the country for three days of inspiring keynotes, engaging workshops, dynamic prayer and worship, exceptional music and entertainment, networking with peers, and hundreds of resource exhibits. Cost is $195, not including transportation and accomodations.
