14th Annual Cleveland Heroes Run Takes Place on Sunday, September 27

Whether you're a fast runner or prefer to stroll, join the Cleveland Heroes Run to support the West Park community and those who gave their lives in the name of serving others. Fairview Hospital is the signature sponsor of this annual event, which includes a 5-mile run and a 2-mile run/walk that begins and ends at St. Joseph Academy, 3470 Rocky River Drive. The 5-mile course runs through the Cleveland Metroparks. There will be a kids-only race for children 7 years old and younger sponsored by the West Park YMCA, which begins after the 5-mile race gets started. Although registration is required for the kids race, no entry fee applies. Everyone is invited to get involved! The entry fee is $25 through September 23, and $30 after. Proceeds from the race benefit the West Park Cleveland Police & Fire Fighters Memorial Scholarship Fund.

For those embracing the competitive spirit, awards will be presented at the end of the races to the top three finishing male and female runners in a plethora of age groups and categories. Click here for registration and details.
