So many have been to a wine or beer tasting, but have you ever been to a coffee cupping?
The event is the first of its kind here in the Shoals! You are invited to join in as we serve 3 rare Haitian coffees, experience the whole cupping process, and learn about Haiti's coffee industry and various brewing methods.
A donation of $20 gets all that, PLUS a 1/2 lb of Lyons Coffee Roasters Haitian coffee and a pastry from Woodpecker Cafe. All proceeds go to support education in Haiti through
The 610 Project.
Coffee 101: Brew an Amazing Cup
An overview of the many elements that go into making a great cup of coffee and a look at a few of the popular home brewing methods. Taught by coffee roaster Scarlett Lyons. All class donations will go to The Circles Project (
thecirclesproject.org).
Coffee will be served.

This show tells the story of Emily, a young girl with a big problem! There is a monster in her closet! Emily and her friend Stephanie gather some of their friends to try to help capture the monster. Murray, the monster, only wants to play Emily's new video game! He is too scared of kids to even try to frighten them! Murray's boss, the Dream King, has put Murray on probation.
