Giving to SEF
In this holiday season, we extend our deepest thanks to
all  of our donors who have made SEF's grants to the Summit schools possible. With the support of so many in our community, SEF is able to make a real difference in our schools. Thank you for your generosity! If you haven't yet donated in 2017, click here to do so online.

If you are thinking about a year-end donation to SEF, you may wish to consider a gift of  appreciated securities .

For stock held longer than one year, full fair market value can be deducted, regardless of the original purchase price for the shares. Stock donors also avoid paying capital gains taxes on donated securities (consult your tax advisor for further details). For instructions on how to make a gift of appreciated stock, please contact the
SEF Treasurer,

Partners Night Update

Over 150 "Partners level" donors and friends gathered at the home of Avi and Abby Horev to celebrate SEF's grants to the Summit Public Schools. A  performance was given by the SHS Big Band, a Woodwind Quintet, with an introduction
made by Alex Bocchino.   Yulia Kuzniar, Emily Kane, Kelsey Lee, Andrew Kessler and Catherine Juliano are the members of the band that performed for the attendees.  SEF also highlighted several notable grants from the last year including Battle of the Books, Peer Leadership and Virtual Dive with Australian Aquarium.   Thank you to all who were in attendance.
