Right At Pilates Plus!

Don't Put Off That Nagging Feeling That You Need To Work On!

Announcing Physical Therapy Services at Pilates Plus!!

Dr. LaToya S. Asher will now be providing one-on-one, 55 minute physical therapy sessions at Pilates Plus.

First appointment:

After a thorough history taking, and initial evaluation and assessment of your condition is performed. Pertinent information is gathered to understand what your functional limitations are and how it impacts your life, and then a tailored treatment plan is designed to help you meet attainable goals.

Follow-up Appointment:

A whole body approach is followed to address the problems identified during the initial evaluation. Patients are reassessed every visit, to improve specificity of treatment selections and progress patients towards their goals.

Treatment:

Traditional physical therapy is augmented with the Pilate's equipment and exercises to improve therapeutic outcomes for a diverse patient population.  Patients will receive a comprehensive combination of services that integrate orthopedic manual therapy, biomechanical counseling, kinesio taping, stretching, stabilization, and strengthening exercises.

What We Treat:

We understand that pain and injuries make normal activities difficult and stressful, and we want to help. Treatment is offered for a variety of conditions resulting from trauma, repetitive trauma, disease process, or age-related conditions.  Pilates based rehabilitation is particularly effective for those with neck and back pain as it helps to eliminate forces that are irritating the patient, teaches postural awareness, core strengthening, and flexibility in order to engage in daily activities without pain. Athletes who incorporate Pilates into their rehab will improve body awareness, experience fewer injuries, enhance coordination, improve flexibility and strength, etc.

Whether you experiencing shoulder pain, knee pain, muscle weakness, or simply want to prevent injury in the future, schedule your initial evaluation today, began the journey to a better quality of life.

When?

LaToya will take new physical therapy clients on Saturday by appointment, and Tuesday and Thursday's from 12-4 p.m.

Look for her expanded hours soon!
