WELCOME St. Mark's Sabbatical Priest:
The Rev. Canon Suzann (Suzi) Holding

Suzann V. Holding
We are so grateful to have Suzi as our Sabbatical Priest during Pastor Debra's time away.  Today from 3:30-4:30 p.m., stop by Cupitol, 812 Grove Street, Evanston for Jubi-latte and Tea Deum where you can visit with both Debra and Suzi.

During Debra's absence (Sept. 10 - Dec. 15), you will find Suzi in the office on Wednesdays and Thursdays. It will be helpful to call ahead to schedule a meeting. If you have a pastoral emergency at anytime, you should not hesitate to contact Suzi at 619-955-0968.

About Suzi
After living in Glen Ellyn for 30 years, Suzi recently became a resident of Oak Park, the beginning of a new chapter in her life. She spent seventeen years  in sales and marketing, before she left the business world to attend Seabury Western Theological Seminary. After ordination, Suzi served as associate rector at Trinity, Wheaton and rector at Church of Our Saviour, Elmhurst before moving to San Diego to work on the Bishop's staff as Canon to the Ordinary.  Missing the Midwest (but not the weather!) she returned to Illinois in November 2013 and began a new position as Director of the Doctor of Ministry Program and Lifelong Theological Education with Bexley Seabury Seminary Federation. She recently resigned from Bexley Seabury to return to full time congregational ministry. Remarried in 2017, she loves welcoming her two adult children home for visits and enjoys the companionship of her two black Heinz 57 dogs, Lucy and Stella.
