Balance Wellness Education
Yin Yoga & the Meridians

Stop by the studio on Saturday September 30th from 2-3pm to hear Yoga Instructor Sheri Wesolowski present Yin Yoga & the Meridian Channels .

This discussion will include an explanation of Yin Yoga and how it correlates to 5 earth elements (wood, fire, earth, metal & water) fundamental to the cycles of nature which are reflected in our bodies through Meridians, the channels that conduct energy throughout the body.

Our Community Workshop Series is presented free of charge. Donations are accepted and will be donated to the local charity of the instructor's choosing. 

Our Charity of the Month for September is: Glynn County Humane Society
Light Refreshments will be served.

Stand Up Paddleboard Yoga

 Feel free to stand, sit or try a little yoga on your board!

 Don't worry, if you miss this one we'll have another one in October!

Class is 90 minutes long and will allow some time for you to become accustomed to your board and being on the water.

Please bring a water bottle and a towel. Wear clothes that you are ok with getting wet - just in case!

Address will be provided upon registration.

Yamuna Body Rolling Sciatica
Use YBR to take pressure off an inflamed, irritated nerve so that it can begin to heal. In this workshop we’ll release the muscles around the pelvis and the thighs. You do not have to have active sciatica pain to benefit from this workshop. Anyone can receive rewards by focusing on their pelvis and thigh muscles, creating space where compression and contraction exists.

Save Your Feet!
Save Your Feet is offered monthly as a 1-hour workshop that will vary month to month with a variety of foot exercises to keep you in tip-top shape! As a bonus, we recommend taking our Foot fitness session followed by our Align & Flow Yoga class to experience first foot (ha!) how YBR work will improve your balance and foundation during your yoga practice.

Yoga Field Trip - Wanderlust 108 in Tampa!

On September 24TH meet The Balance Team at Curtis Hixson Waterfront part in Tampa, Fl for a Wanderlust 108 Event. This event is a 5k run/walk followed by a 90 minute yoga practice with live music and then a 30 minute guided meditation practice. 

What better way to celebrate National Yoga Month then coming together with a tribe of local Yogis to celebrate the union of our body/mind/spirit!
