Meet Our Small But Mighty Team

The clients we serve are diverse, so are we. Our team is made up of successful and dedicated changemakers from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

We share a strong passion and desire for helping immigrants in Alberta, Canada and vulnerable children and families in Burundi, Africa overcome barriers to succeed through education and entrepreneurship. Most of us have experienced challenges as immigrants, others are Canadians who help us teach our clients Albertan and Canadian etiquette to help them integrate and succeed.

Why we deserve your trust?
- We are a team of successful immigrants and Canadians with a strong passion for creating success around us,
- All of us call Edmonton, the City of Champions home; we are committed to makimg our city and Alberta a better place,
- We understand the challenges and barriers that immigrants and less privileged citizens face daily locally and beyond the borders; above all, we are able to propose solutions to address them,
- We speak your language (immigrant language): Help One Another Canada is officially bilingual; we provide our services in both English and French languages. However, thanks to our strategic partnership with the Cultural Interpretation Services for Our Communities (CISOC), we will offer some services in over 50 foreign languages and dialects,
- We have a solid understanding of Alberta business and nonprofit sectors,
- We have a strong and extensive network of successful professionals and organizations; so if we cannot help ourselves, we certainly know someone who will!

The Future is Bright! Help One Another Canada Is Now Truly  International

After over 7 years of hard work and dedication to empowering less privileged children and families in Burundi, Africa through education and entrepreneurship,  Help One Another Canada has been granted the status of International Non-Governmental Organization (NGO).

Education Sponsorship At Its Best: Students Continue to Graduate in Burundi

As mentioned in our previous newsletter, Claudine, a girl sponsored by Help One Another Canada has graduated high school with distinction last school year. She dreams of becoming a doctor. We are working hard to find sponsors to finance her education for the upcoming 5 years to help make her dream come true.

Another sponsored student, Venuste Havyarimana, a boy, just graduated a Trades program. Thanks to the generous support of our donors and supporters, Help One Another Canada is making a sustainable positive difference in the lives of less privileged children and families in Burundi. You too can change a life of a child or family in Burundi! Contact us at [email protected] to sponsor a less privileged student or one of our high impacts projects in Burundi.
