Family Camp
It was a joy for my wife and I to share in Family Camp. This was a time for whole families to spend time together for fellowship, relaxation, and to hear messages regarding the family. Starting in church on Thursday night, and concluding on Sunday night, we taught 13 different sessions. Some of the topics included: How to Destroy Your Family, The Virtuous Woman, Building the Bedroom, Disciplining Children, and Providing a Godly Home.
This Family Camp came on the heels of the terrible Supreme Court decision. I am sure you are broken-hearted as I am. One of the verses I used for camp was when God said, "them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed"
(1 Sam. 2:30).
With the previous decisions we have made as a nation, and the latest Supreme Court decision followed by the rainbow-lighted White House, our nation has rejected God and His Word.
We stand guilty, awaiting judgment for our sins.
Our response is to continue to obey God in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation. And all of God's people say, "Amen!"
