What is Family Sunday School?

Life is hectic for families and it’s hard to carve out time to be together. So we invite parents, grandparents or other important adults to come with your child (age preschool 4-years-old through 5th grade) to Family Sunday School. Together, you can build a strong biblical foundation for you and your children that will set them on the path of life long faith, and strengthen your own faith. Plus you can meet new people and have fun! No, you will not have to "teach!" You will learn together with your child, working on crafts, games and other activities. Yes, we will have coffee!

We will use the internationally acclaimed children's curriculum SuperBook Academy. Using phenomenal videos and graphics, children travel through a “time tunnel” back to the world of the Bible where they explore the people and historical background of a scripture passage and learn to connect the biblical story to their own lives in practical ways. There are creative games, great music and fun crafts to keep kids (and parents) engaged.

If you don’t want to miss your adult class, no worries! Your child can attend without you. If you’d like to attend some weeks but not others, feel free! You won’t get behind. This year, make Family Sunday School part of your "family time" together. Starts September 10 in the Fellowship Hall.
