Congratulations National FCCLA Officer!
July 2, 2018 - Amitoj Kaur, Senior at Butler Tech - Lakota West High School was elected National Vice President of Membership. Amitoj was one of ten national officers elected during the National Leadership Conference, held June 28-July 2, 2018 in Atlanta Georgia. Farewell from Kelly Jung
On July 6th I completed my last day at the Ohio Department of Education. I will be returning back to the classroom and teaching Family and Consumer Sciences at Shelby High School as a Satellite of Pioneer Career and Technology Center. I am excited to take the knowledge I have gained in this role and put it into action in the classroom. I learned so much from all of my FCS teachers and you have been an inspiration to me personally. I look forward to continuing work with you all through FCCLA and OATFACS.

Thank you for three great years. It was an honor and privilege to serve hundreds of teachers and thousands of students throughout the state of Ohio. I am so proud of the work that has been done over the last three years and I am looking forward to seeing what is yet to come. I want to leave you with this quote: “The secret of change is to focus all of your energy not on fighting the old, but on building the new”.
