If you request work for your sick child, please come by the school office and pick it up.

TOO GOOD FOR DRUGS

For the past 12 years Family of Christ has partic-ipated  in the Mendez Foundation- "Too Good for Drugs" course.  This is a nine week course for 6th, 7th and 8th grade students and is taught by a trained teacher who comes to our campus during one science period a week.   This course contains critically important life skills that greatly reduce risk factors and enhance protective factors related to alcohol, tobacco and other drug (ATOD) use, as well as other problem behaviors among students. Please visit the website at www.mendezfoundation.org  f or more information.

The cost for this course is $500 per class.  There is no charge to our students for this valuable course.  PTL has graciously agreed to pay the cost for all three classes.   We value your child and know that this course will provide him/her many necessary skills that will be of utmost importance through the impressionable years.

We are blessed to have Mrs. Kelli Fowler to teach our 6th and 7th graders and Ms. Christianne Caldwell for our 8th graders

We raised over $700 from Box Tops in October.  We send them again in March.  Please turn in your box tops ASAP and thanks again!

Thank you Hunter's Green Publix!  Our eighth grade class stood outside on Saturday and collected $800 towards their Washington, D.C. trip.
