First let us say how much we have loved and appreciated all of our customers over the last few years. We have felt honored to have served you with all your cooking needs. You have shared so much with us, letting us into your homes and lives. Over the past couple of years, as most of you know, we have had a lot of changes. One of which is our beautiful daughter, Porter, arriving just this past July. Just a couple of months ago Marc, from Frenchman's Corner of Culpeper, came in to say hello while he was in town like he always does. We got to talking and Marc said he wanted to open a Frenchman's Corner here in Charlottesville. After much consideration and a lot of thought about it, we decided to sell the store to The Frenchman's Corner. We know this will be the best thing for all of us. Doug and I get to keep doing the things we love AND get to spend more time with our daughter and Marc gets to open the store we always wanted Seasonal Cook to become.
What does this mean for you? We have thought of this too. As we always have put our customers first. We promised when you signed up for our emails we would never sell your information. We have not. We do keep our promises. We would however like to invite you to sign up for
The Frenchman's Corner's email list. We know you will be happy with them serving you with all your kitchen and cooking needs. We also want you to know we are keeping our email addresses, so if you do need anything please feel free to contact us at either

doug@seasonalcook.com. We will be keeping you all on our email list and the website will stay up, at least for awhile. We invite you to continue to keep your names on our email list so we can let you know of all our coming adventures. If you would like to be removed, we will miss you, but please do so by clicking on the unsubscribe link above.
The store will change over January 1, 2012. We ask if anyone has any valid and outstanding gift certificates or store credits to please bring them in and use them before January 31, 2012. The Frenchman's Corner will honor valid gift certificates for us for a while. We are terribly sorry if this causes any inconvenience to anyone. *If anyone has purchased a gift certificate in the past 30 days, we will be more than happy to refund you your money if you bring in the certificate by December 28th. We can not refund money to the recipient. Refunds will only be given to the purchaser. We will ask one favor and that is if you have given any gift certificates in the past year, even if you think they have used them, please pass this email along so the recipients may have a chance to use their certificates. We are sorry we were not able to share this information sooner. We did as soon as we could.
