Solstice & Equinox  Celebrations?

Remember our early years, when people came to the farm to celebrate the changing of the seasons?  Farm Manager Amanda remembers these moments fondly, and would love to see them revived.  If you are interested in coordinating these types of gatherings this year, please contact Amanda

New High Tunnel for Season Extension

High Tunnel

As the harvesting wound down last fall, the farmers turned their attention toward constructing a new high tunnel on the farm.  In the next few weeks, they will put the finishing touches on the structure and will get our first crops planted inside - greens and radishes for our spring fundraiser, Sprout!  The high tunnel was made possible through an Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) grant created by the United States Dept. of Agriculture's Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS).  The EQIP High Tunnel Initiative provides financial and technical assistance to producers to extend the growing season for high value crops in an environmentally safe manner.
