Fall is for Farming too ! - Downtown, Saturdays & Ogden Park, Wednesdays!
Fall is for Farming too!  And Farmers Markets!
Late summer and fall produce is on the way to the markets in the month of September, but there are also still melons, tomatoes, eggplant, squash and more coming in!  Both markets eagerly await the return of Black River Organic Farm and Thomas Produce Farm to add to the abundant produce selection.

Growing your own is a great option too!  At the markets in the fall you can find locally-grown starter plants of cabbage, kale, collards, broccoli and more. Herb plants, native species and perennials are always available from our local growers.

Also shop the markets for locally-caught seafood, goat cheese, NC wines, locally-roasted coffee available bagged and by the cup, hot & iced, fresh-cut flower bouquets, baked goods, artisan crafts & more!
