New Exhibition
"THE WORLD'S WIFE"

As part of World Book Night 2011, artists and makers were invited to create work inspired by the current Poet Laureate, Carol Ann Duffy's poetry anthology, "The World's Wife" - poems based on history, myth & fairy tale retelling the tales from the female perspective - both humorous and irreverant.
The resulting exhibition promises to be fascinating - over 50 artists from all over the country have been inspired to create work in a wide mixture of styles and media - paintings, printmaking, glass, textiles & ceramics. .
