Fashion District Dining Guide
The LA Fashion District has always been the go-to spot for quintessential Los Angeles street food. What you might not know is that the Fashion District is also an international culinary center, where you can find some of the best Mediterranean , Peruvian , Chinese , Brazilian , Australian Cajun , Korean Mexican , and yes,  vegan  food in downtown.

City Market Has Such Good Food Even New York is Paying Attention

The  NY Post highlighted Los Angeles' newest "foodie havens."  At the top of the list is the Fashion District's dining destination - City Market. Chef Steve Samson now has two restaurants at City Market South, the Jonathan Gold favorite , Bologna-inspired,  Rossoblu , and the newly opened Superfine Pizza , a pizza window serving full pies and pizza by the slice. They have recently been joined by tropical inspired DAMA complete with an outdoor terrace on what was once a banana loading dock.

A Truly Authentic Food Court

" The most overlooked international food court in DTLA " features Mexican, Chinese, seafood, kabobs, pho and Pakistani and Indian cuisine. It is exceptionally well priced and perhaps one of the only places in downtown where a delicious meal with real ingredients can still be had for under $10 with plenty of places to sit and air conditioning. BONUS: Stop by on Taco Tuesday for $1 street tacos at  Cilantro Lime .

Superfine , City Market South at 11th and San Julian Streets
Chef Steve Samson is expanding his presence in the Fashion District. Just steps from his popular restaurant Rossoblu, Samson has opened Superfine – a pizza spot specializing in thin-crust pizza. The restaurant is now open and has quickly become a neighborhood favorite for a quick slice of pizza.

West Elm, 938 S Broadway
The national modern furniture chain is opening its first Downtown Los Angeles location in the 11,000-square-foot retail space of the Broadway Palace apartments. The store is scheduled to open in September. 
Earth Bean Coffee, 1040 S Los Angeles St.  
Earth Bean Coffee is opening their first roastery and cafe this month, located at 1040 S Los Angeles St. They are a local eco-friendly roaster committed to providing 100% Organic and Fair Trade Certified coffees. Their cafe menu is 100% organic and includes superfood-infused tonics.
Hoxton Hotel, 1060 S Broadway 
The Hoxton Hotel is expected to open this fall at Broadway and 11 th Street. This will be the fifth location for the London-based hotel chain and the first on the West Coast. The boutique hotel will have 164 guest rooms, a spa, event space and multiple food and beverage venues.
CVS, 1026 S Broadway  
A CVS is opening at the corner of Broadway and Olympic Boulevard on the side of Broadway Palace. This will be the second CVS to open in the Fashion District. There is currently a location at 7th and Spring Streets. It is expected to open in the fall.
