Father Daughter Dance: Pretty in Pink 
Father Daughter Dance
It's a girl's dream come true at this pink party!

Create memories that will last a lifetime as you dance the night away with your daughter. 

This magical evening comes complete with an energetic DJ who will teach you the latest dance moves and a full dinner buffet to accommodate the palette of both father and daughter.


The Valentine's Ball is Friday, Feb. 10, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Matt Ross Community Center, 8101 Marty St.

The cost is $25 per father/daughter couples who are members of the community centers; $30 for non-members. There is a $10 fee per additional child.

Semi-formal or formal attire is acceptable. Pink clothes or accessories is optional but will add to the fun of the Pink Party!

 

Registration beings on Monday, Jan. 10. Space is limited, so sign up early! To register, call 913/895-6390.


Get Fit Challenge

This is a 12-week weight-loss challenge, to help you meet your goals of leading a healthier lifestyle.

Get Fit Challenge begins Feb. 5, and runs through April 22.

It is designed to help you to succeed on on your own at home by helping you stay motivated and goal oriented.

There is a support from the group and certified trainers and nutritionists who will provide work-out and nutritional tips.

All of this will set you up for a successfully healthy lifestyle.  The winner will receive free personal training or a group exercise membership, their choice.  

The cost is  $100 ($16.60 a session) for community center members and $120 ($20 a session) for non-members. A T-shirt is included. 

Sessions will be held every other Sunday from 8 -9:30 a.m. at the Matt Ross Community Center, 8101 Marty St., beginning Feb. 5. Weigh in will be done at the beginning of every session.
