On Saturday, June 13, we'll be discussing and pouring our way through a fantastic line-up of top-of-the-line single malt Scotches. Spend the afternoon sipping and chatting, or bring home a bottle or three to give your Dad on his big day (and be sure to scroll down to check out our Father's Day gift guide!). Here's how it works: Only a limited number of slots (15) will be available, and we'll be reserving them on a first-come, first-served basis.
The cost of a reservation will be $25... but attendees will be able to put that $25 toward the purchase of any Scotch at the conclusion of Saturday's Seminar. Please call (202.362.9463) or email to reserve your space. As for what's on tap, we'll be tasting 6 truly remarkable single malts you won't want to miss. We'll start with 3 cask expressions from Isle of Arran Distillery--classic Arran Single Malts "finished" in Amarone, Sauternes and Sherry casks to impart complex flavors and aromas. Next, we'll move on to 3 offerings from The Exclusive Malts collection: an 11-year-old 2003 Auchroisk, a 17-year-old 1997 Benraich, and a 7-year-old 2007 "An Islay" single-barrel Scotch. We'll be talking much more about (and, of course, tasting) each of these excellent Scotches on Saturday, so reserve your spot and settle in for an afternoon of Scotch-fueled education at your favorite neighborhood wine store. Best of all, these Scotches will be available for anyone to purchase (as long as quantities last), so feel free to stop by even if you don't plan on attending the seminar.
