Read BIG, Read Real, Read Together
We had a great experience reading the Bible together back in 2015. After a long wait, we received the new materials for Community Bible Experience !!! So we are starting Sunday, February 25 at 9:45 a.m. in room 317. Groups for preschool, children, parents, teens and adults. We will start with an 8-week journey through the New Testament. If you are interested in being in a group, contact Jeanine, Hans or Dan .
Our FAVORITE Friday Night is TONIGHT!
Culpeper Acoustic Cafe is tonight at 7:00 p.m. and will feature: singer songwriter, Kate Hohman, performing some of her own compositions and popular covers. Country, southern rock artist, Buck Robey, plus David Martin and Alan Betzin, singing and playing many of the ole time and popular favorites will also perform.

Parents Night Out is from 6:00-9:00 p.m. tonight, and the theme is "Drive in Movie." Cost is $10 per child, ($30 max per family). Contact Jeanine before noon today to get a spot.

Sunday R.E.A.C.H. Going GREAT
Sunday afternoons at CBC are a time to  R estore,  E nrich,  A ffirm,  C onnect and  H eal. We currently have 3 ministries and one community event happening.
  • Griefshare is helping people deal with loss. Once again, we have a number of community folks involved. Contact Hans for more info.
  • Financial Peace University has another large group of 13 led by Skip & Lou Price. We have people from Antioch Baptist and City on a Hill Church attending.
  • The Marriage Course 10 couples have been building their relationships in this 7 week series. Contact Dan for more info.
  • Piedmont Community Band meets on Sundays, at 6:30 p.m. in the Worship Center. This community band is open to new members - come check them out.

We are so excited to have a full team! We love partnering with community organizations to make a difference in the lives of young girls. Pray for our team.
Pickleball - Find out More!
Join us at Culpeper Baptist Church February 23 rd at 3:30 p.m. for the Pickleball skills games. Margie Davenport, USAPA Ambassador and Carolyn Law, both National medalists will be teaching. We will enjoy some fellowship and pizza together also. If the weather is good, we will also play outside. Admission is free and the fun is contagious.
2018 Concert Series Celebrating the 40th Anniversary of our Schantz Pipe Organ

7:00 p.m. and features the American Harp Ensemble. This concert is sponsored by the Virginia Baptist Homes Foundation. We will also host the Duke University Choir Friday, March 16 at 7:00 p.m. If you can help house a student on Friday night, please contact the church office.

Focus on Recovery
On Monday nights we host an AA meeting and a Families Anonymous group. For more information, contact Dan.

Family Chimes each Thursday , 5:15-6:00 p.m. on the third floor. We are having a great time with all ages represented. No musical background required! It's just fun!
Hopeful Imagination
31 of our leaders went to Wilmington, NC in January to hear the story of First Baptist Church, Wilmington. Click here for a recap of that visit. Dee Brooking shared her testimony at the 8:30 a.m. service this past Sunday - you can read that here. We look forward to praying, sharing and sensing God's leadership together as we move into a hopeful future.
CDC Expansion Update
Since the vote of the church on January 28, we have been busy preparing for renovations. We will be reviewing bids by the end of the month; we are meeting with HVAC contractors to explore options for the 2nd floor, we are preparing the 3rd floor of the education building so rooms are ready for classes to move into, and we continue to enroll children for the summer and fall. A LOT is going on. Continue to pray for this work and tell families with children about the many opportunities we have for them at the CDC.
