Promotoras de Salud recently hosted two events. The first was a Conversacion y Comida Dinner, hosted by Promatora, Sandra Zapata. The second event was a Dental Care Presentation by Promatora, Nick Rodriguez. Thank you to Kilgore's Medical Pharmacy for the donation of dental hygeine supplies for the children. We are currently recruiting volunteers and kids for the 2013 summer program: Active & Fresh! The program will encourage children to live healthy lifestyles through daily walking, swimming and a healthy meal. Active & Fresh runs Monday-Thursday, 12-4pm, Monday, July 15th through Thursday, August 8th.  If you would like to volunteer or know of any kids that would like to enroll, please contact our coordinators:

We offer Spanish classes, at $10/class, every Tuesday, 5-6pm.
