AQUARIUS: SUMMER OF LOVE THE MUSICAL
Presented by West Coast Performing Arts Presenters

The Summer of Love tells the story of 60's counterculture, performing its most memorable musical greats - Janis Joplin, Grace Slick, Sly Stone, Jimi Hendrix, Joe Cocker, John Fogerty and more. A fun, high-energy, family-oriented show, Aquarius infuses humor and history while inviting audience participation. Aquarius' six members set out and succeed in bringing back wonderful memories for those who lived through the 60's and creating new memories for those too young to remember.

The Aquarius cast provides a very entertaining family-friendly "stars in concert" show in which they entertain, with multiple costume changes, as iconic rock stars of the late 60's - the Summer of Love/ Woodstock era. They sing and play their instruments live without the use of voice enhancements or tracks!

Aquarius performs in character as some of the most soulful and revered musical artists of the 60's.

TRIBUTE TO THE GREAT BIG BAND SINGERS AND DRUMMERS
Presented by OnStage Musicals in association with Temecula Presents

Join the All Star Big Band and singer Frank DiSalvo as we pay tribute to some of the greatest singers and drummers of all time. Frank DiSalvo will entertain with energy and charisma worthy of legends like Bobby Darin and Sammy Davis, Jr.-you might even think it's Sinatra himself on the stage. Together with the finest drummers in the area, we will recreate some of the finest moments in big band history.

About Frank DiSalvo:

In 1990 I moved to Redding Ca. where I played a lot less but still loving jazz. I opened up several music stores where I taught jazz guitar and played casual gigs. I played around northern Ca. Florida, Germany, Indonesia, and Russia. Then in 2000 a fellow musician came to me and said "I love your singing and playing ,why don't we start a swing band?" Thus was born Swing City. I assembled 7 of the finest musicians and we rapidly became very popular in Northern Ca. In late 2008 the band stalled because of the failing economy. No one was hiring 7 piece bands in our price range. Sadly, we faced the fact that we were pretty much done. Then a good friend said
"You kinda look like Frank Sinatra and you kinda sound like him. You should do a tribute to him."
Feb 2009 the first of the Sinatra tributes was born. The little 6 year old boy( who is now 60) has finally stepped into his dream. "I want to be a singa'!"
