The following nominations and applications are due on April 1st; please click on the following links to apply for the scholarship program or nominate an extraordinary volunteer in your area!
The 64th Legislative Assembly officially opened January 6th, 2015. Here is the latest information on the snowmobile legislation:
- Senate Bill 2139: relating to the licensing of snowmobiles (transferring the snowmobile registration administration from the ND Department of Transportation to the North Dakota Parks and Recreation Department)
- Passed the Senate Floor on 1/27/15, 47 yeas and 0 nays
- Senate Bill 2164: relating to the snowmobile registration fees
- Passed the Senate Floor on 1/27/15, 47 yeas and 0 nays
- Senate Bill 2198: relating to the minimum age requirements for snowmobile operators
- Passed the Senate Floor on 2/10/15, 38 yeas and 8 nays
- All three bills will transfer to the House on 2/27/15; please watch your emails for further updates and the upcoming House Transportation Committee Hearings

2015 Take a Friend Snowmobiling Campaign
Haslett, MI, JANUARY 16, 2015: The Snowmobile Manufacturers through ISMA are excited to partner with the organized snowmobiling community and the many snowmobile associations and clubs who support snowmobiling throughout North America. The unique partnership between the snowmobile manufacturers and the snowmobile community is now over 40 years old and has grown since the inception of the Go Snowmobiling promotion 6 years ago.
