Working Together, Building Together
Carlos Bell, President
One of my goals as ACPE President is to be inclusive of the various voices within our organization via the Presidential Newsletter.

Gary Sartain, North Central Regional Director, granted me permission to submit "The State of the Union As I Understand It." I appreciate his thought-provoking perspective as ACPE is " Working Together, Building Together."

Would you believe it - 2016 saw another record year in giving! We raised $105,447 in individual gifts, plus another $15,725 in regional gifts,
totaling $121,172 in 2016 Sowing Seeds for Our Holy Work Annual Campaign dollars! Not only did we exceed our $85,000 target, we also continue to increase our overall giving participation. This means that we can do even more to expand CPE into new settings and offer spiritual care to those in life's most vulnerable moments. Thank you!

ACPE Mission to Israel
Israel Maven
As a new initiative focusing special attention on the professional well-being of our Supervisors, we are proud to share this unique opportunity to travel together. In late January 2018 (specific dates to be determined), ACPE will be hosting a mission to Israel, a unique country that is home to many religions. This is a voluntary trip that is open to members of ACPE and their spouses/partners/significant others.

The mission will be a 10-day experience designed to foster community, offer opportunities for learning, to engage with one another, to experience the holy sites of Judaism, Christianity and Islam as well as the modern state of Israel, and to have professional opportunities to engage with colleagues in Israel who are in the emerging field of spiritual care with site visits to centers.
