Alumni Office Highlights
Hello, again! I hope that winter is treating you well. We at TA are busily closing out the winter sports season, & are looking forward to all the fun & warmth of spring.
As always, TA would love to hear from you! Please email me at email@example.com with any changes of address, or if you have any feedback about how TA can better serve its alumni. Also, if you're in the area, please stop by the school & visit; we'd love to see you!
potlight Alumna: Madison Moore Brown, TA '07
One of the exciting events that we're looking forward to & gearing up for at TA this spring is the Warrior Country 5K on April 21. Our spotlight alumna this month is Madison Moore Brown, TA '07. Madison was the overall female winner of last year's Warrior Country 5K, finishing the 5K with a blazing time of 29:35.63!
Madison started running in high school through the encouragement of her father, who was also a runner. Her first running course was the long driveway at her home in Waverly! Madison continued running throughout her undergraduate studies at Randolph-Macon College, where she majored in Psychology with an emphasis on Behavioral Neuroscience.
After graduating from Randolph-Macon College, Madison attended the Eastern Virginia Medical School's Physician Assistant program, where she took her running to a new level. Madison returned home to Waverly after graduation from Physician Assistant school, where she began her career in Richmond while still finding time to continue running.
Madison lives with her husband Vincent, & their two dogs. When not running, she enjoys outdoorsy activities such as gardening, hunting, & fishing. She also loves spending time with her family & friends, & going out to eat.
TA Receives $1000 Grant from Davis Oil

We at TA would like to thank Exxon Mobile & Davis Travel Centers for their generosity. Particularly, TA would like to thank Rex Davis, TA '85, owner of Davis Oil, for nominating TA for this grant.
