February meeting extras:

After-meeting art salon - FREE
From 12:30 - 2:30pm, you’re invited to still life watercolor practice in the meeting room, with Kath Macaulay (PocketSketching™) and Krista Neis (Etegami). Bring a small watercolor set and any paper and ink (pen or brush) for quick still life sketching. Or just bring watercolor set and email your interest in other supplies ( krista.neis@comcast.net ). New members, new-to-watercolor artists, observers and guests are welcome. Bring brown bag lunch and drink. No need to RSVP.

Be sure to pick up your copy of the most recent PW Journal - it’s a beauty!

Note: PaperWorks strives to make the most of our monthly meetings by limiting our announcements during the business portion, thus giving time for members during the break to visit our tables and gather information, sign up for classes, and re-connect with others.  If you have an announcement, you are encouraged to send it to enews enews@paperworks.info by the 25th of the month.

Next up: March 8, 2018 speaker - Jane Herrick

Whether it’s found objects in the natural environment or man-made materials, my goal is to allow the piece to develop, given the characteristics of the materials and the influences from my environment.

Jane's website is http://www.janeherrick.com
From September through May, PaperWorks meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month at St. Philips in the Hills Church, East Murphey Gallery. PaperWorks meetings are open to members, guests and the public at no charge. Summer meeting times and locations vary. Directions to St. Philips and updates at www.paperworks.info
