AARP Foundation Tax-Aide offers free, individualized tax preparation for low-to moderate-income taxpayers, especially those 50 and older at more than 5,000 locations nationwide.

Tax Help in Colorado from The Piton Foundation
Free tax preparation assistance resources are available to families who earned less than about $55,000 in 2016. Called Tax Help Colorado - these are free tax preparation sites typically open from January through the tax filing deadline, and the days and hours of operation vary by site. Starting Feb 21st the class meets for 16 weekly sessions followed by six monthly sessions from 5:30-6:30PM at the Centura Firestone Neighborhood Health Center located at 6600 Firestone Blvd. If you have pre-diabetes or other risk factors for type 2 diabetes, it is time to take charge of your health. The Medicare Rights Center is a national, nonprofit consumer service organization open Monday through Friday. Through their national telephone helpline 1-800-333-4114, they answer thousands of questions every year from people with Medicare, their family members and friends. LEAP (Low Income Energy Assistance Program)
LEAP is a federally funded program that helps eligible hard working Colorado families, seniors and individuals pay a portion of their winter home heating costs. The LEAP Program is accepting applications for the 2016/2017 season from November 1, 2016 - April 30, 2017 heating costs. It is not intended to pay the entire cost of home heating, but rather to help alleviate some of the burden associated with the colder months
