Shining Stars Showcase

This spring we will again present a special performance for the youngest Dance Corner students. The "Shining Stars Showcase" is on Sunday, 6/1 at 12pm. The performance will last 30-40 minutes and will feature all our Twinkle Twos and Pre-Stars dancers. This shorter performance makes the recital experience much less stressful for our tiny performers and their parents. All students enrolled in a Twinkle Twos or Pre-Stars class will perform in the showcase. All other classes will perform in "Dancing Through the Decades" recital on 5/31 or 6/1. 

February Break
The Dance Corner Will be closed for February Vacation week,
 
Monday, 2/17- Sunday 2/23. 
 
No classes (except scheduled make up classes and private lessons) will be held during the vacation week.

Sick Children in Dance Classes
  
We of course, do not want children to miss their dance classes, but if your child is sick with a cold or flu, please keep them at home.

We do not want them spreading illness to their classmates or our staff.

If your child misses class due to illness, you can certainly schedule a make up class.  Please contact Miss Carrie for available make up classed for your dancer.

Please help us make sure that every dancer has a happy and healthy dance  experience!

Costume & Feb Tuition Payments due- 2/15

 

February Vacation- 2/16- 2/23, NO CLASSES, 

(except scheduled makeup classes and private lessons)

 

Picture Days- 3/17-3/19, NO CLASSES 

(class picture times will be announced by end of this month)

 

Picture Sales- Fri, 4/4, 4:00-8:00PM

 

April Vacation- 4/13-4/20, NO CLASSES

 

Onstage Rehearsals- 5/30 times TBA

 

Recital- 5/31 & 6/1, 2:00PM both days

Costume Payments due by 2/15

All families with costume balances due, should have received their billing statement with these charges in January.  Please pay your bill promptly in order to have your costumes in time for picture days. We will begin sending costumes home after February vacation. Costumes will not be sent home if your bill is not paid. Please call or email Miss Carrie if you have any questions about your costume bill or need to make a special payment arrangement.

Recital Tights

Each student will receive a pair of tights with their costume for the recital (except boys). We guess-timated the tights sizes so it is possible that the tights included with your costume are the wrong size. When you receive your tights, please check the size chart on the back to determine if they will fit. If they are the wrong size, please bring the incorrectly sized tights to our dance shop in their original package and we will give you a new correctly sized pair of tights.

Do not try tights on. Once they are out of the package we cannot exchange them.

What day is my child performing?

Many of you have asked which day your children will be dancing in the recital. The scheduling is extremely difficult, and unfortunately it is impossible for every family to have all their children dance in the same performance and many children will perform in both shows. We do our best to create the most convenient schedule for all families and offer discounted tickets for families who have to attend both shows.

Most ages 9 and up Ballet, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Lyrical, Tap & Jazz classes and the dance companies perform in both performances.


Tuition Payments
Monthly Tuition payments are due by the first of each month. Use your email address to log into the Customer Portal and pay your bill securely and conveniently online -

All customers are required to submit a credit/debit card or bank draft information at registration. If your account is not paid in full by the 15th of each month, this payment method will be charged for the balance due. If your payment is declined, a $10 late fee will be applied to your account. Payments made on past due accounts will be applied to the oldest invoice first.
