Bet Sefer Tu b'Chopped Cooking Competition
In honor of Tu b'Shevat, Bet Sefer students joined the teams of three JHJC celebrity chefs and competed in their own version of the "Chopped" cooking show. Each team was given a mystery box of Tu b'Shevat fruits or nuts and then had only one hour to create a dish using those ingredients. Thank you team chefs Trey Davis (Sweetwater Restaurant), Wendell Stam and Isaac Grossman. |
Team Trey made olive tapenade and hummus.
Team 'Super Jew' Isaac made banana bread.
Team Wendell made beautiful apple raspberry pies.
Hurry! Less than four minutes left to complete our dishes! |
