Wow! What an exciting start it has been for this year. If you missed the Discover Loomis Business Expo, you missed a wonderful event. We had several local businesses represented, awards presented, great food, and a lot of opportunities to network with our fellow business owners and community. We also had an update from Sean Rab

, Loomis Town Manager. Make sure you get the events for the year on your calendars so you don't miss anything!
Keep your eyes and ears open for the Discover Loomis Visitors Guide that will be coming out in March. All of our Chamber members will be listed in the directory, but if you want to have an ad or have an idea for a focus article, get in touch with the Chamber office. These directories are given out all over town and are a great resource for our community.
Love is in the air for February. Let's be sure to love on our local businesses. We have so many that offer a variety of options for gifts for your loved ones or even a little something for yourself. And don't forget, we have businesses that offer services that are helpful to those in our community. Let's make sure that we show our support for one another.
I'd like to you leave you all with a quote - "The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that little extra." This is not only fitting for our own businesses, but in supporting each other so that all of our businesses grow. I am challenging myself to see what "little extra" I might be able to do that will help to breed success in our Chamber and the members within. I would love to see us all shoot for that "little extra."
