THE LATEST UPDATES FROM THE DEMOCRATS OF CUYAHOGA COUNTY | FEBRUARY 2018
A MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIR
Thank you to everyone who volunteered, participated in, observed or supported our Endorsement Meeting on Saturday, January 20 th .

The Endorsement Meeting was held before the filing deadline to help our five Cuyahoga County Statewide Candidates and the ODP gather signatures and meet our fine Democrats. This has often been the past practice of our Party during the Gubernatorial Election cycle.

We are working hard to unify the party. We are working across city lines, east, west and south, and mobilizing our supporters like we did to help elect Bill Clinton and Barack Obama.

We know that local and state elections are also critical for Democrats and we will be ready to mobilize in 2018. We must find common ground and we must come together to regain what has been lost in the last several years. We have someone in the White House whose values, mindset and mental stability are not only a threat to himself, but to our country and the world.

Too often, we are our biggest obstacle. Although we may not always agree, we are stronger together. Therefore, we must stick together – the Republicans want us to fight with each other instead of against them but we won’t let that happen.

In this day and age, we must have a balanced ticket – not only qualified but also diverse – because our strength is in our diversity which helps motivate people to get out and vote. This is how we stand united in our goal to elect Democrats!

Our Team is excited about 2018 and the Cuyahoga County Democratic Party has much to look forward to. The stakes are high but we are ready for the challenge. Please, connect with us and get ready to work – we are taking back Ohio in 2018 . Like us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter. Volunteer. Engage. Find common ground.

We have a lot of work to do and as chairperson of the Cuyahoga County Democratic Party, I am making every effort and taking every opportunity possible to keep us moving forward as a whole. #StrongerTogether #BlueWave2018
