Enjoy an hour of networking and fellowship.  The guest speaker is Ranger First Class Freddie Hays, the Jasper County Conservation Ranger. He has been employed with the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) for 22 years and will give a presentation on the vision and goals of the Law Enforcement Division (LED).

The Ferst Foundation addresses one of the most basic issues of childhood literacy- ensuring the availability of quality books in the home so parents can read to their child.  SEUSS ON THE LOOSE is part of a national campaign called, Read Across America.

Join the Ferst Foundation at the Jasper County High School on March 7, 2015 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. for a community-wide event (focusing on birth to age 5).  The event features games, prizes, contests, food, and more.  The Chamber of Commerce will have a booth....see you there!

2015 DEER FESTIVAL PLANNING COMMITTEE





The Deer Festival Planning Committee meeting is scheduled for 
Thursday, March 12, 2015, 6 - 7 p.m., in the Council Chambers at the Visitors' Center, 119 West Washington Street in Monticello.  The Deer Dash will be the topic for the March meeting. If you would like to be a part of this committee, please join us!
