Being a chamber member includes many benefits and one we want you to be sure you are using is called Chambermaster.  What is Chambermaster and what does it do? This is a great, easy-to-use online tool where you have the ability to keep your company information up-to-date, add special deals for the public or maybe deals for other chamber members, reach out to other chamber members via the social feed, post events to our calendar and soon, sign up for events.  You may also use this tool to list job openings!  The more information you include on your company's profile, the easier your company will be searched on our online business directory.  2014 members were invited to join via an e-mail with a link to login which was sent on Jan 8, 2015 and new members since that date were sent a special e-mail with a link at the time of registration.  Can't find the e-mail? Have a question about using the program?  That's okay, just call our office and we'll send out another e-mail and answer any questions you may have.  The best thing about this benefit is it is FREE to you!  It is included in your annual membership dues.

The 2015 Chamber Directory will be available the last week of February. The ambassadors will help distribute the directories to local businesses and of course they will be available at the chamber office.

Job Shadowing

The Waterford Area Chamber of Commerce is partnering with Waterford Union High School to offer a job shadowing opportunity for High School sophomores and juniors. Participating students have interests including, but not limited to, trade professions, professional services, sales, engineering, and marketing. Those businesses interested in this opportunity will bring one or more students as a guest to the April 15th Power Breakfast. From the Power Breakfast, students will drive separately and meet at the respective business location for job shadowing. We ask that participating businesses be within a 15 minutes radius to the High School. The job shadowing will be from around 9:15am to 12:15pm on April 15th. If you are interested in giving back to the community and providing hands-on work experience to interested students, please e-mail Katy Engels by Wednesday 18th at 4pm.
