Presented by Ken Cyphers, Attorney, Welty | Welty, PC Ken has always been interested in legal aspects of financial and business practices. From debt relief to nonprofit or corporation formation, as well as deep experience in real estate law, he loves going to bat for clients and helping the community at large work through the monetary and real estate issues we all face. His experience working in Sonoma County real estate development and serving on the Windsor Planning Commission is helpful when resolving his clients' legal issues.
Ken received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from State University of New York at Albany, and earned his Juris Doctorate degree at St. John's University School of Law. He is licensed to practice in California, New York and Connecticut.

Mike Hauser Algebra Academy
The Healdsburg Chamber of Commerce has once again been invited to participate in the Mike Hauser Academy. This will be our fifth year participating. What is the Mike Hauser Academy? The Mike Hauser Academy gives English Language Learners who will be attending High School as freshman, the opportunity to visit various STEM related companies where they interact with engineers and professionals, observe demonstrations, and participate in hands-on activities that reinforce classroom math and science lessons. This program helps students grasp mathematical concepts by offering them a direct learning experience and practical applications for STEM concepts.
We are currently looking for Healdsburg businesses that are interested in participating in this program. The dates for this year's program are June 12-29 running Monday through Thursday. If you are interested, please contact me at

This year students will be participating in programs in Healdsburg, Santa Rosa, Rohnert Park and West County. Local businesses that have participated in previous years include: E&M Electric, Max Machinery, Healdsburg Police and Fire Departments, Costeaux Bakery, Sonoma Jet Center, Sonoma Millworks and Russian Riverkeeper

Design Healdsburg Community Workshop
A Focus on Commercial & Industrial Design
Wednesday, February 15, 2017
Over the next year and under the direction of City Council, the City will conduct an engaging, community-oriented process as part of the Design Healdsburg project. The City's Design Guidelines consultant, Winter and Company, in coordination with City staff, held the first community workshop on December 7, 2016. The next series of Design Healdsburg community workshops is scheduled for Wednesday, February 15th at 6 pm, focusing on commercial and industrial design. On Thursday, February 16th, at 6 pm, there will be a subsequent community workshop focusing on residential design and neighborhood character. Both workshops will be held Community Services Facility Multi-Purpose room located at 1557 Healdsburg Avenue.
