ZAG and RJG Host Chatham Charter School Class
STEM Field Trip

ZAG Equipment Sales, Inc. and RJG welcomed Ms. Mary Key's third grade class of Chatham Charter School to RJG's newest training center, The Hanger, in Gibsonville, North Carolina.  The visit allowed the students to experience a real world workplace and apply their problem-solving skills to eliminate production issues.  Using their impressive math abilities, the students helped keep the injection molding machines in production and producing parts.  Their firm handshakes and confident self-introductions combined with strong pro blem-solving skills all point to successful plastic industry professionals in the making.

Chatham Charter School is a K-12 public charter school that focuses on college readiness and prepares students to be life-long learners and productive citizens.  Students excel in real-life application and enjoy applying their skills in business environments.

The hands-on STEM field trip involved several local companies, all working to invest in the academic efforts of teachers everywhere.  "Field trips like this are my dream," says one teacher.  "It allows me to provide an environment that excites the learning process in a way that cannot be replicated in the regular classroom setting."
