Love is in the air ♥ Whether single, married, in a relationship, or living happily with your pets, there's no doubt February is all about LOVE ♥ At our studio we celebrate love and friendships all year round ♥

In my 17 years of teaching fitness classes and being in many different gyms & facilities, nothing has yet to compare at what our studio brings to our members ~ new loving friends! New life time friendships! New workout buddies! New brunch buddies! New shopping buddies! New anything buddies!!! Some of the bonds that I've seen and experienced are truly priceless! These special bonds have made many inseparable, longing for more times together, and with no doubt, will be eternal ♥

All of you, currently at the studio, or not, have a lil piece of my heart and I am glad to have met you ♥ 

I've met so many wonderful people throughout the years of teaching, and by far ZT's members are the best. I feel blessed and loved by many, therefore I give you my heart at every class because I LOVE YOU ♥ & appreciate YOU being there with me ♥ I speak, not just for me, but for our entire team at the studio, we all love YOU ♥

Lots of exciting things will "re-start" this month:

♥ " The Little Black Dress Project" (LBD) is back! This amazing project will help participating members focus on themselves for 90 days with our guidance and support. Many different aspects will be analyzed during this Project - not just for weight loss. More info on the flyer below. See me for detailed information. There will be a kickoff meeting once we have all participants registered.  (Please note: corrections on flyer. The correct categories are 0-5 lbs, over 5 lbs up to 15 lbs, over 15 lbs)

♥ Our popular "Bootcamp" 5 week sessions will start February 1st - get on it peeps - limited space.  (More information on the side column)

♥Workout with a Partner - I invite you to bring a guest to our Saturday morning "Partner" class, for Zumba, Weight training, or both! These special classes will be held on the 13th at regular times ♥ FREE FOR EVERYONE  (More information on the side column)

♥ Instructor training will also start February 1st - see me for details. I'd like to remind all members to please be patient and supportive of all of my instructors & trainees while instructor training is happening, as they will be teaching with me in classes for their continuous evaluations and growth as a ZT's Studio instructor. Thank you for your understanding and support!

Laora dedicated 90 days to herself and lost 38lbs!!! 

We gave her the support, guidance & motivation she needed. Weekly accountabilty, adding weight training to her Zumba weekly routine, and making changes to her nutrition were keys to success!

Our 1st ever "Fitness Morning" was unbelieable! 
I am so very proud of EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU who participated, and SURVIVED!!! 

We started with Zumba, followed by a funtastic Ballroom style Salsa Formation thanks to the fabulous Marie, then got down and dirty with Hip-Hop, then almost died doing Kickboxing with Ron, thankgoodness we could go outside to catch our breath (not really!) and enjoy the beautiful weather we had for "bootcamp" - thanks "Jay" for assisting; then we slowed down a bit for weight training, and the icing on the cake, finishing with the beautiful Martina and Yoga ♥

I can't wait to do it again, stay posted for our next one!

Zumba at 8:30am - our normal class will be awesome as usual with a bit more "basic" moves to welcome your guest partners and a few partner dancing songs!

MEMBER SPOTLIGHT

There are not too many couples who workout together - from time to time I meet a wonderful couple who workout together and it's a joy to see that ;) In my 17 years of teaching, I've come across some wonderful ones, this month, being the "love & friendship" month, I have chosen our newest "workout couple"  Linda & Reid MacLeod - they are fun, loving, hard working, and health & fitness conscious - I love having them in class and yelling at Reid to pick up heavier weights!!! Come on MAN!!! Thanks Linda for letting me yell at your husband !!! 

How long have you been a member of ZT's studio? And/or Teri's classes?  
Since July 2015

Do you take Zumba, weight training classes, bootcamp, or 2 or 3 of those and which ones?   
Weight Training 2 - 3 per week. Zumba occasionally.

What is your favorite part about coming to the studio?
The best part is the fun we have, the energy while working out and knowing how much Teri cares about all of us. She watches us for proper form and she truly wants us to get results!

Do you have a favorite rhythm that you love dancing to in classes?
The less complicated and more physically intense the better.  For example,  quicker beats with using more legs to get our heart rates up during Zumba.  As for Reid, he enjoys the weight training and enjoys the laughter and fun, and the intense challenging routines.  

What are your health or fitness goals, if any?
My goals are to build bone and burn calories. Since I found out I have osteopenia, thinning of the bones, I was told to do weight bearing exercises. Thanks to Teri's class I kept my levels from deteriorating. And of course, Zumba helps me burn lots of calories!
