February 2018
"I have been a member since 1995. However, it was not until I committed to the Texas AGD Master Track in 2008 that my practice of dentistry, and indeed my life, truly transformed. The CE provided through this program, and the fellowship with like-minded dentists has allowed me to practice with a confidence I had not previously experienced."

IN THE SPOTLIGHT
A SEASON FOR THE HEALTH OF YOUR CAREER
Along with the winter season, flu season, and cedar allergy season, Texas AGD is in the midst of membership renewal season. The latter can actually make you and your peers healthier – at least career-wise. And it’s the goal of all of us to stay healthy this time of the year.
By renewing your Texas AGD membership, you maintain access to the valuable programs the membership provides:
FellowTrack
  • Earn CE that will enhance real world knowledge and inspire career development while in dental school.
New Dentist Study Club
  • Continue your advancement toward Fellowship and lifelong learning while establishing a community for professional and personal growth after dental school and beyond.
New Dentist Conference
  • One-of-a-kind conference designed for students and new dentists. Experience hands-on learning, expand your skills & grow your practice, create connections, and discover new products & services.
MasterTrack®
  • The highest level of learning for a general dentist with a unique structure to help you design your path to Mastership.
Lone Star Dental Conference
  • Experience multidisciplinary CE designed specifically for general dentists with hands-on learning to expand your knowledge and grow your practice. Connect with peers and discover new products and services. In addition, celebrate general dentistry at the Texas Academy Awards and meet New Dentist of the Year and Texas Dentist of the Year™ nominees.
Another goal, to continue our strong voice within the AGD, is in our renewal numbers. With your help, Texas AGD can hit 100 percent renewals. The graph below compares the renewals thus far to those at the end of the 2017 renewal season for each component. Our goal is to match these numbers 100 percent by April 30, the end of this year’s renewal season! How does your component stack up? Are you represented on the graph?
Renew today and encourage your peers to do so, too, so your community will continue to thrive, and be ready for any season.
